Just sprinkle our savory blend of herbs & spices over chicken and veggies in our mess-free oven bag for a delicious meal that requires mere minutes of prep time. All you need is a baking dish, 2 ½ lbs. chicken and cut-up fresh veggies, like potatoes, green beans, onions and carrots! Bake for 1 hour and dinner is served. Plus cleanup is a snap - just toss the cooking bag. The rich flavors of onion, garlic and juicy meat will have your family asking for more. Our seasoning mix contains no artificial flavors or added MSG*, so you'll be glad to make this meal again and again. *Except those naturally occurring glutamates.
Preparation & Usage
Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 1 hour Makes 8 Servings You Will Need 1 pkg. McCormick Cooking Bag & Seasoning Mix 2 1/2 lbs. chicken parts 4 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as potatoes, green beans, onions and carrots Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13x9-inch baking pan or dish. Sprinkle Seasoning Mix evenly over chicken. 2. Place chicken in single layer in bag. Add vegetables. Sprinkle any remaining seasoning over chicken and vegetables. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape. 3. Bake in lower half of oven 1 hour. Remove from oven. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut open bag. Serve chicken and vegetables with pan juices. If desired, serve with McCormick Chicken Gravy. Important: Allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Cooking Bag should not touch oven walls or racks. Kitchen Tips For Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts: Use 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast halves and 4 cups sliced fresh vegetables. Place vegetables in bag first; then add seasoned chicken breasts on top of vegetables. Bake 45 minutes. If omitting vegetables, bake for 30 minutes.
