Ingredients
8 oz Melissa's garbanzo beans
1/4 c low-fat plain yogurt
1/2 c cilantro, chopped
1 clove garlic, roasted and chopped
1.5 Tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 Tbsp water
1/4 tsp kosher salt
2 pita bread with pockets split horizontally
1/2 lb carrots, trimmed and cut into sticks
Directions
  1. Slip skins from garbanzo beans with your fingers, then purée garbanzo beans with yogurt, cilantro, garlic, lemon juice, water, and salt in a food processor until smooth.

  2. Heat grill and when fire is hot lightly oil rack, then grill pitas, uncovered, turning once, until golden, about 2 minutes total.

  3. Serve dip with pitas and carrots.
