Ingredients
8 Wahlburgers Signature Sliders (beef patties)
8 slider buns, preferably brioche
8 slices cheddar cheese
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup pickles, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons Wahlburgers signature sauce
2 tablespoons butter, for toasting buns
Directions

1. Prep the Ingredients: Remove the slider patties from the packaging and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper. Let them come to room temperature for a better sear. Slice the onions and pickles, and prepare any other toppings you plan to use.‍

2. Toast the Buns: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Spread butter on the cut sides of each bun. Place buns buttered-side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Sliders: Increase the heat to medium-high. Place the slider patties on the hot skillet. Use a sturdy spatula to smash each patty down flat to about a quarter of an inch thick. Cook for about 2 minutes until the edges begin to look crisp. Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.‍

4. Caramelize the Onions: In another skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions with a pinch of salt, and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.‍

5. Assemble the Sliders: Spread Wahlburgers signature sauce on both the top and bottom of the toasted buns. Place a cooked patty on each bottom bun. Top with caramelized onions, pickles, and any other toppings you like. Cap with the top buns and press gently.‍

6. Serve Immediately: Serve the sliders hot, ideally with a side of fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
